Pastor, Church, Family, and Friends,
Greetings from Santiago, Chile. We praise the Lord for the mighty work he did in the month of May. We celebrated mothers day with the mothers in Iglesia Bautista Redentor (Redeemer Baptist Church), Erica’s birthday, and securing the property for the Chile Training Center.
It was truly an amazing thing to watch the Lord work over the last nine months moving in the hearts of so many churches, individuals, and organizations to help us raise $250,000. The final paperwork has now been completed and we are officially the owners of the property.
As you have seen in past posts, the Lord is already allowing us to use this property for his glory. We have had an increase in our enrollment and we have been able to use the property for various conferences and work shops on church planting
We would ask that you continue to pray the training center. We will be moving on to the second phase to better the property and will need additional funds to complete future projects.
The first project will be to inclose an outdoor space to be used throughout the year as a chapel and auditorium. The preliminary cost of this is approximately $50,000. If you would like to contribute to this you can send donations marked Chile Training Center and we will apply those gifts to this project.
We also had a great time at a Men’s Retreat hosted by our co-laborer Jason Kenney and his church. There were approximately one hundred men that participated. Although, I was only able to be there for one of the two days it was very beneficial and we heard great reports from others about how well the sessions and preaching were.
Iglesia Bautista Redentor continues to grow. We are grateful that at the end of the month we had five first time visitors visit with us. Three of the visitors are a christian family that were looking for a Bible preaching church and saw a poster that one of our young men had put up at a bus stop. We are glad that they returned the follow week and are considering joining us. Our other visitors were a young man and young lady. The young man, Christian, is a co-worker of one of our members who invited him to church. This past Thursday night after our service Christian trusted Christ as his savior. Please pray for him as he is discipled and grows in his new walk with Christ.
As always, we are grateful for your prayers and support and want to say thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to be a blessing to us.
Jamie, Erica, Morgan, Luke, and Meredith
