Dear Pastors, Friends, & Family,
Wow, where do we begin. The last two months have been a whirlwind with several changes for us. As always, with change there are challenges. We are grateful that the Lord proved himself faithful through each challenge that came with the changes.
In the last update we informed you that the Lord had provided the needed funds to purchase the Chile Training Center, and we were grateful for all you did to make that possible. The paperwork has been completed and the property is officially owned by the Chile Training Center. We continue to enlist new students each semester and the need for renovations on the property are growing quickly. If you would like to give to help with the future projects you can send your gift marked Chile Training Center.
We are currently in the process of helping our friends, the Kenneys, while they are on furlough in Iglesia Bautista Esperanza and Iglesia Bautista Trinidad. We will be doing this until January 2019 when they return.
Upon their arrival we will be looking for property to start a new church. We are currently praying for the Lord to guide us to the area he desires for us to work next. Our desire is to be begin this new work in March/April 2019.
We are going to begin raising funds now for this project as well. We will need approximately $5,000 to purchase the furniture and equipment, approximately $8,400 for the first years rent, and $5,000 for renovations. We are currently setting aside funds for this personally, however if you would like to contribute to this church plant you can send your donation marked Chile Church Plant to:
PO BOX 519
Braselton, GA 30517

Also, we are glad that Iglesia Bautista Redentor is continuing to do well. We are planning to have an organization service in the near future. Please continue to pray for this work. We are still looking for a permanent location for this church.
On a personal note we had much to celebrate: Meredith’s birthday (10), Luke’s birthday (14), and Erica and I celebrated our 20th anniversary.
God has been good! Souls have been saved on a weekly basis, people have been baptized, and the Lord’s work continues to increase. Thank you for giving and praying so that all this could take place. Your investment into the work here continues to have eternal rewards.
