We are set to depart for Chile Tuesday, June 09. We fly out of Atlanta at 10:00pm and wake up Wednesday, June 10 in Santiago, Chile. We have had an amazing time on deputation making many new friends, watching the Lord meet our every need, building a team of prayer warriors, and sharing the gospel in new places with people we would not have met any other way. Deputation has been a wonderful time of preparation and gave us the opportunity to see parts of the country that we had never visited before. BUT as wonderful as it has been, we are glad it has come to an end. We are ready to for a new beginning in Chile.
We ended deputation in the month of May with some great meetings and a couple new supporting churches. Our last meeting for deputation was in Montana. It was the greatest distance we have traveled so far on deputation, and the fine folks of Solid Rock Baptist in Montana did all they could to make it worth our time. They really went out of their way to give us a good send off since they were our last meeting. It was also a unique experience since the church was started by a missionary that our church supported for several years while this church was being planted. It was exciting to see how the investment of our home church in a state side church planter had come full circle. Also, while we were there we had the opportunity to witness to and minister to some of the employees at the hotel we were staying in. Please pray that the seeds that were planted have not and will not be snatched away.
We want to say thank you to each church that has had our family in to present the work in Chile. It truly was our honor and privilege to be with you. Each of you did more for us then we deserved and we are forever grateful for your investment in our lives. We are looking forward to sending our next update from the field and praying the Lord will give us fruit that will remain to your account.
In Christ,
Jamie, Erica, Morgan, Luke, & Meredith
